Goldmine

RAY RAY ON DRUMS from TONE on Vimeo.

I found this great video of Raphael Saadiq reminiscing on his glory days with Prince and Sheila E... and Sheila E's sister.

Raphael's boyish charm is still so endearing. He's a beautiful thing to watch.

It's Getting Complex

Do I even have to say anything other than "I'm in love"?

They Go Hard

Since winter is pretty much just starting... (snowstorm, wut wut!) it might be safe to buy these beautiful Crooks & Castles winter wear items. I am a sucker for either comfy or streetwear items with panache, and these fit the bill thanks to innovative detailing and cuts-- that cropped poncho reminds me of a sweatshirt you'd make it home when you were feeling crafty with your old Champion $20 from Modells. Cept it's so much super nicer. Yeah.

Loan me money, por favor? Kthanx.

You can purchase all of these pieces at Karmaloop.

Naughty Boy

My obsession with this song and video is frankly, appalling.

Wiley is a legendary Grime producer and British rapper who apparently, is also REALLY into creeping. Because this new track he's released with Emeli Sande is all about him creeping. Seriously-- "See a new thing/Start talking/Get aquianted/Start walking/That's when I start promising the world/Even though I got a woman at home". The dude is a player and, thanks to Emeli's voice, I am loving it.

This Woman Did Her Work!

Oh, did you hear that noise during Maxwell's performance? Yes, yes. THAT noise. The noise of panties dropping nation wide. Was I the only one that needed a cigarette after watching this man perform live and sound almost BETTER than the record? I mean whatever Roberta Flack was there, yay, wooptiey-doo, but all I was doing was staring at this brotha in the suit.

Let's just say I had lovely dreams.
